Welcome to my online art studio exhibition!

 

I am a Romanian visual artist living and working in fascinating Transilvania, a gorgeous land which inspires my artworks and my dreams. I’ve found my passion for drawing and painting  in my childhood and I have nurtured it ever since. For me painting or drawing is the only way: to notice, to emphasize, to reveal and to invite. And bright colours are my words for bringing to awareness beautiful landscapes, imaginary scenes, fantastic dreams, everyday people or plain objects in a surprising setup.

I like to experiment so I work on many mediums playing with styles and techniques in my attempt to perfect the control of my technique and have a complete representation of the model. 

​

I am fascinated with nature and  with the works of the Great Masters. Through my art I try to convey my feelings and to reveal to others the beauty in simple things: an apple, a bunch of wild flowers, an autumn forest. You can find these works under the 'paintings'  and 'drawings' tabs.

As a teen I was introduced to religious painting on glass and wood panel. Its intricate design as well as challenging technique and narrative motivated me to try it so my precious collection of religious interpretations was born. You can get a glimpse of selected works under the 'sacred art' tab. 

​

Nature, supra-natural, things, objects, ideas, colors, feelings, beings and architecture sometimes fuse looking for a new visual approach and expression. My dream inspired compositions under the 'paintings/abstract' tab celebrate the fusion of the past and present, ireal and  surreal, both in subject and in painting techniques used.
